Sewing Lessons for Girls and Boys
Marina’s Sewing School’s goal is to teach sewing skills to children 6 – 12 and teens using kid friendly patterns and introducing them to fashion design concepts, including pattern design, fashion illustration and understanding current trends in clothing styles and textiles. Program is focused on sewing clothing that children can wear as well as creating craft projects.
Sewing their own clothing will provide an opportunity for students to express their creativity and learn to sew fashionable well-fitting clothing for themselves as well as meeting new friends and having fun.
Ages: 6-12 and teens.
Class Size: Up to 4 students for a one hour class.
Tuition: $35 per child per week, one hour classes: due on the first class of the month.
Absences: Please notify the school within 24 hours of your scheduled class to qualify for a make-up class.
Materials: Students are responsible for purchasing their own fabrics and trims for their projects.
Parking: For children’s safety drop-off/pick-up is located on the circular driveway. Please don’t block or park on the neighboring driveways.
Schedule:
Mon – Thu 3:30, 4:30 & 5:30 p.m. Other times are available upon request.
